Rain, Rain

It's been a very dreary week here. It rained so much on Tuesday that from the time it took me to walk from the vet school to my vehicle, I was drenched. I went to my chiropractor appointment like that. And I went and worked at my second job. (I do bookkeeping for the local bowling alley. Just a few hours a week for money to save.) It was not a very fun time. It proceeded to rain all night with us getting 3/4 of an inch between midnight and 7 am. It's nice that our new sump pump worked all night. We had to replace it last year around this time because the fuse broke on our old one. I'm really praying for no repeats of last year!
