Hospital: Day 4

One more day. The doctor said Jason may be able to go home tomorrow. Here's hoping! They want Jason to stay in the hospital another day because there aren't pill form antibiotics strong enough for his infection. He's off the IV saline and just needs the antibiotics by IV. He's up walking around more and his pain is still intense, but doesn't last as long. His rash is starting to go away too. They are thinking about giving him a steroid cream to help with the itching, but are hesitant since it will make it harder to fight the infection. Jason did finally get more than an hour or two for sleep last night. He hasn't gotten any morphine since Monday as well. I think he's doing a lot better and we can't wait til he can come home.
